Cansado das praias lotadas da Zona Sul do Rio de Janeiro? Querendo conhecer mais dessa beleza natural que todos falam? Então perca um minuto do seu dia conferindo essas dicas!

Nesse artigo falaremos um pouco sobre algumas praias localizadas na Zona Oeste da cidade para você curtir seu verão (ou qualquer época do ano na realidade, é sempre quente aqui).

Para chegar a essas praias a opção mais fácil é pegar o BRT (principalmente se você vier de metro da Zona Sul), saltar na estação do Recreio Shopping, e depois ir de Taxi ou Uber até o local. (Ônibus que vão até o fim da praia do Recreio também são uma boa opção).

 

– Prainha –

Talvez a mais conhecida dessa lista, é uma pequena praia (como o nome já diz), encontrada entre o bairro do Recreio e Grumari. Realmente pode ser considerada uma das praias mais belas da cidade, extremamente limpa e também bem conhecida entre surfistas da região.

 

Por seu pequeno tamanho, os preços podem ser um pouco mais caros, se estiver buscando um lugar para passar o dia, comer, beber sem gastar muito, daremos outra opção a baixo.

 

– Grumari –

É uma praia que se encontra a pouco mais de 5 minutos de carro da Prainha, segundo pela Av. Estado da Guanabara. Por estar em uma área de reserva ambiental, é igualmente limpa e bela. É definitivamente o lugar que você quer ir se quer gastar um pouco menos, fazer uma caminhada ou surfar.

 

 

– Praia do Secreto –

Por outra praia bem conhecida próxima a região é a Praia do Secreto, formada em momentos de maré baixa entre as pedras. Para chegar lá o ideal é parar de carro no Mirante do Roncador, seguir por uma pequena trilha e descer uma ladeira de pedra para chegar à praia.

Não há comercio ou barracas, ou seja, não é o lugar ideal para passar o dia todo. Além disso, antes de ir, informe-se sobre os períodos de maré alta, já que a praia literalmente desaparece nesses momentos, inclusive podendo tornar-se perigosa pelas pedras e ondas.

In this article we will talk a bit about some beaches located in Zona Oeste of the city, for you to enjoy your summer (or anytime really, it’s always really hot around here).

To arrive at these beaches the easiest option in by BRT (specially if you are coming by subway from Zona Sul), exit the bus at Recreio Shopping station, then take a cab or a uber. (Buses that go to the end of Recreio’s Beach are also a good option).

 

– Prainha –

Maybe the most well-known in this list, it’s a small beach (as the name says), located between Recreio and Grumari neighborhood. It can really be considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the city, extremely clean and also well-known between surfers.

Because of its small size, it can be a bit of an expensive place, specially if you are looking for a place to spend the day, eat and drink, without spending too much. But don’t worry, we will give other options bellow

– Grumari –

It’s a beach found in a bit more then 5 minutes by car from Prainha, continuing in Av. Estado da Guanabara. As it’s located in an environment protected zone, it’s as clean and beautiful. Is definitely the place you want to go if you wish to spend a bit less, take a walk or surf.

 

– Praia do Secreto –

Another each well-known in the area is called Praia do Secreto, that appears when there is a low tide between the rocks. To arrive there, is best to stop in Mirante do Roncador, follow a small path and go down a rock to get to the beach.

There are no commerce activities in the area, so it is probably  not the best place to spend the whole day. Also, before going, inform yourself about the tide, as the beach literally disappears in high tides, being even a dangerous place to be because of the rocks and waves.
