Festas universitárias da UFRJ

Olá, universitárixs. Como vocês estão? Nós sabemos que apesar das provas, testes, trabalhos e seminários, nenhum de nós é de ferro e precisamos nos divertir um pouco também, né?  Pensando nisso, hoje falaremos sobre as festas universitárias, com direito a alguns bônus no final!

Mas primeiro: qual a diferença entre festas no Fundão (seja na prefeitura, ou popularmente chamada de prefa, seja em Letras, seja na Reitoria) e as festas fechadas? E a diferença para as tradicionais chopadas de cursos ?

Bem, as festas no Fundão são, em sua grande maioria, abertas ao público. Ou seja, você compra e paga na hora pelo que consumir, seja da organização da festa, seja dos vendedores presentes. São muito normais no início do semestre (geralmente dois primeiros meses) e ótimas para integrar muita gente, sejam do mesmo curso, sejam de cursos diferentes!

Já as festas fechadas exigem nome na lista de convidados ou pulseira de identificação no dia. As tradicionais chopadas são consideradas festas fechadas, porém com o adendo de geralmente oferecerem shows de MC’s e cantorxs. Por serem pagas com antecedência, são geralmente open bar (bebe a vontade) e algumas, open food (comida liberada também).

Outro ponto a se prestar atenção é de que nem todas as festas citadas irão acontecer. Algumas apenas no primeiro semestre do ano. Por exemplo, a “Caninha” que aconteceu em 2023 não acontecia desde 2018.

Bem, tendo encerrado nossa introdução, vamos a listas de festas:

– Calourada Unificada: festa que ocorre geralmente na primeira sexta do semestre. É aberta a todo mundo e costuma ser realizada em Letras.

– Prefa de Medicina: festa organizada pelos alunos de Medicina da UFRJ e aberta a todos os cursos. Acontece na Prefa.

– “Pizzada”: festa organizada pelos estudantes da FAU (Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo) que acontece no prédio da Reitoria. Geralmente uma ou duas semanas depois da Calourada Unificada.

– Festas abertas na Reitoria/Letras/Prefa: são festas sem nomes oficiais e que podem vir a acontecer ou não. São abertas e aconselhamos perguntar a seus amigxs sobre a realização delas.

– Chapodonto: chopada (ou seja, fechada) organizada pelos alunos curso de Odontologia da UFRJ. Costuma ter vários cursos presentes.

– Chopada de Medicina: chopada organizada pelos alunos do curso de Medicina da UFRJ. É bem conhecida por seus shows de MC’s populares no momento.

Vamos agora às festas organizadas pelos cursos de engenharia da UFRJ:

– Caninha: a famosa chopada da Engenharia Naval da UFRJ. Infelizmente não ocorre faz três semestres, por problemas relacionados ao local de sua realização. No entanto, se houver em um próximo semestre, não perca a oportunidade !

– Boom: a festa fechada organizada pelos e para os alunos da Escola de Química da UFRJ – porém é aberta para os demais cursos também. Costuma ser realizada em

um local mais afastado do centro da cidade do Rio de Janeiro, geralmente em um sítio para comportar a estrutura do evento que chega facilmente a 400 pessoas! Vale muito a pena!

– Civil Mentiu: a festa xodó da Engenharia Civil da UFRJ. É uma festa que nasceu relativamente recentemente, porém já se consagrou como uma das melhores e mais esperadas do semestre, não só pelos alunos da Civil, inclusive.

– Como Nunca Civil: uma chopada tradicional organizada também pelo curso de Engenharia Civil da UFRJ.

– Churrascohm: churrasco organizado pelos cursos de Engenharia Elétrica da UFRJ. Costuma atrair gente de dentro e de fora do curso. É open bar e open food, ou seja, pague antes e beba/coma o quanto quiser

– Churrasco da MetalMat: um evento que começou pequeno mas que cresceu e hoje comportar gente de todos os cursos e engenharias. Costuma ser um churrasco bem animado, com direito a open bar variado.

PARTIES AT UFRJ

Hello dear university students, how’s  your college semester?

We know that despite the tests, works groups, reports, and seminars, none of us are made of iron, and we need to have some fun too, right?

Thinking about it, today we will talk about UFRJ’s university parties, with some bonuses in the end!

But first, what’s the difference between parties in “Fundão”, inside parties and the traditional specific course parties?

So, in general, the parties in “fundao” are open to the public. In other words, you buy and pay in time for what you consume. This kind of party is very common at the beginning of the semester (in the first two months), and are very good to interact with many people, whether from the same course as you, from different courses, or even from other colleges.

On the other hand, inside parties require your name on the guest list or ID bracelet on the day. The traditional “chopadas” are considered closed parties, but with the addition of generally offering shows of MC’s and singers, they usually have an open bar (drink as much as you can handle) and some offer open food (eat as much as you can handle) too.

Another thing to be aware of is that some of those parties don’t happen every semester. Some just at the first half of the year, etc. For example, the last “Caninha” that happened before 2023 was in 2018.

Okay, with our introduction done, let’s go to party lists:

– “Calourada Unificada” – a party that usually occurs on the first Friday of the semester. It is open to everyone and is usually happens in the field next to languages building.

– “Prefa de Medicina” – a party organized by the medical students of UFRJ, and open to all courses. It happens in “Prefeitura Universitaria”.

– “Pizzada” – a party organized by the FAU (Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo) students that happens at the Reitoria building. Usually a week or two weeks after the Calourada Unificada.

– Open parties in “Reitoria/Letras/Prefa” – are parties without official names and that may happen or not haha. They are open and we advise you to ask your friends about the occurrence of them.

– “Chopada da Medicina” – a party organized by UFRJ students of  Medical school. It is a very famous party because there is usually a concert of the top famous “MC’s singers”.

– “MetalMatch” – a party organized by students of Materials and Metallurgical Engeneering that happens at the same place as Pizzada.

Parties organized by Engineering Courses:

– “Caninha” –  the most famous party of Naval Engineer students. Sadly it’s been 4 months that we haven’t had this party (because of some problems related to the place where it happens). Although if you have the opportunity to go don’t miss it!

– “BOOM” – it is a party organized by students of Escola de Química – and opened to everyone!

This party usually happens in a place which is far from Rio de Janeiro center ( it is a place which acomodates around 400 people) It’s a nice party. You can’t miss it

– “Civil Mentiu” –  that’s the favorite party of Civil Engineering students. This is a new event that started in civil engineering and now it’s one of the favorite parties of the corse and of other students as well.

– “Como nunca civil” –  a tradicional party also organized by civil engineering students.

– “Churrascohm” – a barbecue organized by Electrical engineering students of UFRJ but it is not only for students of this course. The price of the party includes food and drinks during the whole event!

– “Churrasco Metal/Mat” – it is a barbecue, organized by Materials and Metallurgical Enigneering students, that started very small, but today is a big event and hosts everyone from every course. It’s  a lively and great open bar event.
